Whakatinana – shared exhibition

I really enjoyed the shared moment this year, it felt far more constructive nad engaging than last years. Having the ability to walk around and move to conversations fluidly was a great way to get alot of ideas very quickly. See what the other disiplines are doing is also great as I never really thought out side of design, but seeing others work especally the photography students stuff was awesome.
This is the finished animation for my scifi elective. I was using it as a learning tool for the second semester on how to frame by frame animate. I was in a team of four but only two of us where animating, all of my scenes are from the start to when the planet blows up. Unfortunately I ran out of time to make a true frame by frame animation and had to cheat the last scenes at the end, but the scene of the alien poking the planet is all done frame by frame.

early attempts to tell a (very) short story

This was an attempt to tell a quick and simple story through illustration. its about betrayal, this was before my project really took form and all I new was I wanted to tell somekind of story I had no idea what kind of media I was going to use or not

Critique from super crit

Super crit was amazing! I was dreading it the whole why up to it but it turned out to just be a really great oppurtunity to get feed back and see what everyone was doing. My only regret was I didnt have more to show at the time.

Various notes

these are various notes I took when researching the narrative aspect of my project. I'm not usually a  note taker, I know its a bad habbit not too I just dont tend to do it instinctivly so I tried to make a real effort to do so here when reading up on my topic.
